I went to Bikram Yoga in the strip the other day and felt a level of fatigue in my feet that was downright refreshing, the foot intrinsic muscles are really working.

I've been performing my workouts in them also. I can really sense the weight distribution change from heel to big toe to little toe as my center of gravity changes. The biggest effect is realizing how hard it is for me to push my 1st metatarsal down to heighten my arch, I like the shoes because they give me a constant reminder to improve.

Vibram 5 fingers shoes

I've been utilizing more dynamic foot training for my patients, the short foot and rooting concepts, and have been looking for a way to expand the therapy

yesterday i went out to elite runners and walkers in robinson and got a pair of the KSO model, overall i'm very impressed

one of the biggest things i've noticed is the action or lack of action of my big toe, i've always had difficulty stabilizing it to toe off, and these shoes really make me aware of the issue and work toward correcting it

I utilize and recommend foot stabilization products such as orthotics and taping, but i believe that long term they weaken the foot. This shoe could help prevent many of the problems I see, especially knee pain, when used properly. Developed countries have much higher rates of foot pain, most likely due to a gradual deconditioning due to overly supportive and constantly worn footwear, and this could be part of the solution

have a good one

pete

Oh hello

Welcome to my blog, this is the first day of it, I'll be adding some good things about how to get your body fixed, bike fixed and all around good things about pittsburgh

have a good one

pete
